DanseHerts is a not for profit venture with the intention of promoting French/Breton traditional music and dance.
DanseHerts is not just about dancing, it is also a social gathering aimed at encouraging people to play and enjoy the music. We have continued interest from teachers who are keen to teach their young pupils to play the tunes.
DanseHerts is a group for all ages. Our emphasis is on having a great afternoon with everyone feeling valued and welcome. No partners are necessary as we actively encourage our more experienced dancers to help newcomers. There is no pressure to do anything ...so if you simply wish to sit and listen to our live acoustic musicians that’s fine. We also encourage people to bring food to share, and their own drinks.

The usual format and price of our sessions is as follows:
12:00 - 13:00 Musicians session / Practice
13:00 - 14:00 Dance tuition to live music
14:00 - 17:00 Dancing to live music
12:00 -
Cost: £5 (conc. £4)
Please bring your own drink and if you wish, food to share.
